At Shield and Rebuild, we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe in their home, online, and within their community. Founded in Queensland, our charity was created to stand beside individuals and families who have experienced the devastating impacts of crime — from home invasions and domestic violence to cybercrime and digital fraud.
We don’t replace what’s been stolen or lost. Instead, we focus on rebuilding safety, trust, and confidence by combining practical protection with compassionate care.
Through our specialised service divisions, we provide:
Home Security Upgrades – strengthening homes with alarms, CCTV, and secure entry points.
Cybersecurity Support – helping victims of online crime recover, protect their data, and prevent future attacks.
Counselling Services – offering trauma-informed support for individuals and families navigating recovery.
Trade and Home Services – coordinating trusted, licensed professionals to repair, reinforce, and restore homes.
Our programs are accessed on a referral base through law enforcement, community organisations and non-profit groups, ensuring that those most in need receive timely, reliable support.

Our Story
Travis Casuscelli and his father, Tony, have dedicated years to working in the security industry, helping businesses and individuals protect what matters most. Through their work, they’ve witnessed firsthand the devastating impact crime can have, not only the physical damage, but the emotional and financial toll it takes on victims and their families.
Early in their careers, Travis and Tony recognized a troubling pattern: many victims of break-ins or security breaches were not in a financial position to implement the additional protective measures they urgently needed. These individuals deeply desired to feel safe and to protect their loved ones, yet found themselves unable to afford even the most basic improvements to their security.
Around this same time, Travis and his wife Jess had been exploring ways to give back—specifically, through a charity that addressed a real and growing need in the community. As 2025 began, the idea for Shield and Rebuild was born. Motivated by a clear gap in support services dedicated to victims of residential crime and cybersecurity breaches, they envisioned a charity that would stand in that gap—offering practical help, emotional support, and advocacy for victims of crime.
Shield and Rebuild was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: no one should be left feeling vulnerable or unsafe because they can’t afford protection. The charity aims to provide tailored support to individuals and families affected by crime, offering assistance with home security improvements, education, and counselling services to help victims recover and move forward.
Travis and Jess understand that the trauma of crime doesn’t end once the event is over. Victims often experience fear, isolation, and uncertainty about what to do next. That’s why Shield and Rebuild is committed to addressing both the practical and emotional aftermath—because true recovery requires more than just locks and alarms.
Together, Travis, Jess, and their extended family are committed to making a meaningful difference. Shield and Rebuild is not just an initiative—it’s a mission. In a country where safety should be a given, no one should be left behind simply because they cannot afford to protect themselves.
